I just finished the Volkihar Vampires questline and when i spoke to someone about work they let me to Galan Marethi. I spoke to him about what he wanted and he told me he wanted to make the courtyard accessable from the main castle. I gladly accepted, but the conversation did not end - it just hung there and I had to press B to quit. I left the castle and returned to make the improvements take effect, but the stone in the hallway was still there and I could not access the courtyard, still. Did I do something wrong? Do I have to wait longer?

I did still have a radiant quest active, so if I finish it, would it work?

You must bring Valerica back from soul cairn. She will then replant her garden, I don't know if it will get rid of the rubble though.

Well, I waited for a while and nothing still happened, but I completely forgot about Valerica! Thanks guys!


Oh, wait. It won't let me do any other radiant quests, now. Is that because I am already on one, or because of my courtyard glitch.
