What you get from us:
With VOS you will experience a relaxed, but focused environment where every member is a contributing part of the team. As part of this team you will not be overlooked as the leadership and core members realize every member is an integral part the organizations overall success. As a small more cohesive gaming organization we are entirely focused on the continued development of our members. We all continually cross talk and help one another develop and improve; whether that is discussing new builds or helping one another obtain better gear we are continually helping one another better our game.
What we expect of you:
- Competency: We require you to have the required skill, knowledge, qualification, and capacity as a player in order to effectively and successfully play and compete at a competitive level.
- Dedication: We require you to devote your game play time to the development, betterment, and success of yourself, fellow members, and the organization.
- Lead & Follow: We require you to have the ability to lead as well as the ability to follow. We understand not everyone is a natural born leader, however, certain situations at certain times there may come a need for someone to step up and take the rains and lead us to victory. Therefor we need our members to at least have the capacity to lead even if they maybe a little uncomfortable doing it. Likewise, some of us have a very dominant personality and prefer to always be in control. Sometimes its more important to be a valued follower than it is to be a leader. Therefor we need our members to have the capacity to only follow when needed.
- Communication: Competitive game play requires a high degree of clear and concise communication. There for we require you to not only have a working headset and microphone, but the ability to effectively and coherently speak in English. We also require you to have the ability to know when to talk and when not to talk when engaged in active game play. We also ask that when you have a question or you do not specifically understand something you speak up and ask. Going in to competitively gameplay with an uncertainty or an assumption can prove costly.
- Respect & Courtesy: At VOS we understand we are all competitive players who play competitively. We also understand that personally we do not necessarily share every ones opinions. Disagreements will occur, frustration will occur, and tempers will rise at some point during any given play period. We understand this, however, we expect you to maintain a level of decency and be respectful and courteous to fellow members of VOS and the gaming communities of which you are a part of, this includes websites, forums, blogs, and games. Witty trash talk is tolerated, hate mail is not!
