So wait.. I cant do this quest now?

If I become a Vamp Lord are there any cures?

And are there any quests I cannot complete by having this power?

And the big question, am I now unable to do the companions questline if I have the Vampire Lord ability?

You can still do all the quests. No one actually cares that you're a vampire lord until you shift into one, in which case they attack you.

The only thing that I can think of that you can't do is changing your face in the Ratway in Riften.

So then in the Companions I can turn into a werewolf and a vampire lord? Like I can have both abilities?

Yeah, you can't change your face.
There is a cure, only requiring a filled black soul gem, and you can always shift back.
It's no problem to go from VL to mortal to Werewolf to mortal to VL again.

I am curious about that too, it only came out 2 days ago so I'm not sure many have tried it.
I will check and I'll probably get to that part by tommorow morning if I plan on sleeping.
I wouldn't say so though, I think you won't be able to.
BUT, you can always join the Dawnguard, a werewolf is a perfect vampire hunter, even though I would reccoment VL more.

IIRC getting the werewolf ability whipes out the vampire ability, as vampirism is an illness in TES, and werewolves are immune to all, though I dont know how they did VampLords so i cant say for sure if it will wipe out the lord part.

That really provided a much needed insight.

Thanks, but in the meantime I'll make another thread to see if anyone has actual insight on this.

IF you get one it gets rid of the other, so if you did the companions then they would make you a werewolf but you lose vamp lord. But if you then had serana turn you again it would get rid of beast form.
