After several days the game is still unplayable. Textures fail to load, it freezes every ten minutes, the game continues to crash at the ghost hideout and none of the updated patches, drivers or community suggestions seem to work. infact, the latest rage patch just made the game look even worse! Below are my specs;

windows 7 32 bit
Intel quad core CPU Q8200
4GB ram
AMD Radeon HD 6870 With 2GB memory

I am certain my PC is above the minimum specs, maybe even on the recomended specs. Who should I be trying to talk to fix this? is it the graphics card people to update thier drivers or am I waiting for a patch to fix this issue from Id? I normaly stick to multi platform releases on consoles, yet the two games I did buy on launch day just to test the waters (Dead island & rage) have been a bit of a nightmare ... Any help would be great!

Same here w the nightmare thing. It seems to be a driver related issue doing most of the damage at this point for us ati users.

will wait for a fix from ATI's end, Rage plays perfectly but i have conflicts, so far only noticable with black ops. Just as well i'm not a huge fan.

edit - also cannot use fraps without getting less than 10fps with the rage drivers in any game

Well its weird, ive got some issue at start for this game but when i follow some tips the game is fine for me,

All new config was put in low/off mean VYSN, texture and co
Atleast you can try to put the game in windows mode instead of fullscreen that can help too.

I got same config and same problems with ATI. Beta patch for 6XXX makes game unplayable too... =( Im in RAGE

11.10 v2 daznt help me. Tweaked to default driver and install it, but no result. Every location change make the game LEGO styled =)

I strongly suggest you use the latest Nvidia driver. I am using the Battlefield 3 Beta drivers on a GTX560M and the game works perfectly.
