Hello all! I'm having some trouble with this quest it already has froze on me 5 times. I'm not sure if it has to do with any of the DLC's I have recently purchased, but I have already deleted the install and game data and reinstalled the game, dlc, and patch. At first it was freezing when I was trying to save during the mission inside the tower. I was able to eventually save right before I released the Miasma. Now it freezes right before Erandur goes to cast the spell to destroy the Skull of Corruption. Any advice on what I should do to try to fix this problem would be very much appreciated.

Its a glitch that I believe was introduced after patch 1.8 was released. The best way to complete the quest to just to not save at all. Gstaff was here or somewhere else saying Bethesda was investigating this.

Don't save during the quest.
