Walking slow for no reason

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 2:24 pm

I was doing the quest where you are supposed to get the horn from the grave. Halfways in the cave (where the spiders and flame-traps are) I start to move extremely slow, just as slow as when your overweight. The only probelm is that im not. I might think a spider may have caused it, but im not sure anymore, since it have been lasting for at least three minutes. I tried some medicine, but with no effect. Anyone have a good explanation for this?

You may be poisoned, or a frost spell happened.
Maybe it involves the web-covered floor?

Possible it is the web, but it should not last this long if im right. No frost spells and if poison, how do I cure it?

Go to your magic menu and check active effects for poison/disease or try the shift/caps keys

CAPS LOCK

This. It took me 10 minutes to figure this out. Felt like a complete idiot...I was down to my underwear trying to shed weight.

Wut, I don't even... What a useless button. It was caps, but how do I change it back? Pressing caps only works temporary.

Forget it, my keyboard is a mess. Changing the button layout seemed to do the trick.

Just press it once, don't hold it, it's a toggle action, it turns "SHIFT" on and off.

I'm having the same issues, so I'm not sure it's a keyboard issue (which I also thought).

It happens when holding shift (which is the walk key) while initiating dialogue. It only seems to happen sometimes, and can also be fixed in the same way.

I have a new gaming keyboard that I haven't completely figured out yet. So the caps lock button works differently from others, so I sat there a few moments pressing that damn button before I figured it out.

Next time you really should post something other than just "CAPS LOCK" as your post. I reported you thinking you were spamming. Sorry to the mod that gets that report i sent.

Yep, I got it and found it pretty amusing when the solution to a problem is classified as spam ;)

I love using the controller on PC so I'm not stuck with "walk super slow" or "run/sprint". With the anolog stick you have a natural transition with a number of speeds and fluid animations. But it seems most of the people in this thread would rather just go as fast as possible. Some people actually enjoy walking in this game at times.

Yea well, some of us have jobs and wives and stuff and have 45 minutes tops a day to play the game. If I walked everywhere it'd be "Skyrim The Walking Game" for me.

Yeah, because people who have those things don't enjoy walking in the game sometimes,....
I never said I walk at all times, I said "at times". And if you're just playing the game to get to one place or another, you're missing half the point of this game. The journey is what is fun, not the destination. I don't mind people who play for different reasons, but don't be unreasonable.
