We Want Chat-Bubbles!

I voted yes but I think Zenimax is going about it the right way by allowing the mod community to take care of things like chat bubbles, bios, and all of the stuff that Zenimax does not really need to spend their resources on. Instead they are far better off spending some of their time and effort (resources) on giving all of these things to the modding community, and this way they can focus on things that the modders can't really do.

Also by doing it this way they are not going to clutter up the battle screens with things they produced and then they won't have to worry about how it effects the performance of their game and if a player wants to have these things all they need to do is download the mod for it and of course the mod is allowed but not something Zenimax put in the game and not something they need to worry about in terms of game's performance.

Can't believe what a divisive issue this has turned out to be . . .

Seems to me that the way ESO is going to be played/built will be without chat bubbles for good reasons:

1) They take up too much space and will interfere with immersion and PvP

2) ESO is going to be fully voiced so having a lot of chat bubbles pop up while a NPC is talking would be annoying

3) ESO will have customizable emotes (not sure how this will totally work yet) and it seems to me a lot fo RP can be done through those

4) People can use Vent for RP and use their actual voices for RP instead of typing

1. Options are never bad. So who doesn't like the bubbles-fine. Turn them off.
2. I also would imagine it easy to implement
3. UI-Modding will make this possible propably, so just wait and see...

Yes but if Zenimax puts chat bubbles in ESO then they have to make sure the games performance supports it. If they give the resources to the mod community to allow them to put in chat bubbles the game still gets them but Zenimax does not have to worry about complaints about them all they would say if there was a complaint about them then is, don't install the mod. Case closed
