I want Falmer DLC.

I am really interested in the Falmer and want to learn everything about them. I think it would be cool to have some dlc that brings them back to skyrim and not as a vile nasty creature and maybe have them as a playable race.

Thoughts?

I am also very interested in the Falmer, I'll soon be looking up the lore behind them though I know quite a bit from playing Skyrim alone. At first they're were pests but now I have got to know them better. They are a favorite of myne to ressurect with necromancy spells.

As far as DLC I forsee them being added to an upcoming expansion but them still being hostile as they are in Skyrim. Kind of like a newly added area that contains mutiple dungeons etc with Falmer being in the content.

It would be a bit strange to suddenly have intelligent and non feral Falmer. If they feature in a DLC, they'll likely be just as hostile and vile.

As for being a playable race? No, DLC that forces the player to restart the game to enjoy some of the content would not go over well. Heck, a lot of players refuse to start a new game to take advantage of quest fixes. Some refuse to even load an earlier save.

I dislike the Falmer.

Partially because of the tragedy of what happened to the majestic Snow Elves (Fall of the Snow Prince may be my favorite TES book), partially because they're way too tough for their skinny little bodies and primitive technology, and partially because they remind me too much of the goblins from Lord of the Rings - you know, the ones in the first movie in the Mines of Moria.

I also doubt that we'll get a 'rejuvenated' or 'less screwed up' Falmer race to play as though. It's not really in Bethesda's style to add new races (at least since Morrowind). It might be cool to find a small tribe of 'unchanged' Falmer who have been surviving in a glacier somewhere, isolated and avoiding Nords. Sort of like Yagrum Bagram from Morrowind, but a Falmer and not grotesque.

Actualy the Falmer never had primitive Technology, they weren't as advanced as the Dwemer but they were more advanced then the Nords, also the Falmer deserved what they got, they tried to commit a mass genocide of the Nord people because they were populating to quickly and the Falmer felt threatened.

Snow elves are tough LOL. They are tough as Nords if not tougher in Melee battle. As I remeber correctly they were almost the cause of Nede extinction in Tamriel, before the Snow prince died of an ironic death.

They do in their blind, goblin-esque form haunting Dwemer ruins, which is what I was referring to.

Oh, I though you was talking about their pre-war state.

Why make a DLC about vermin?
Theres already too many to kill, we don't need more.
Who cares about the history of some pathetic elves?

Ew... playable race?

Well, you'd be blind... and would be hostile to... everything...

Falmers are great and one of the best and "deep" creatures of the game in my opinion.

But as i've said already in a thread like this a Dlc concerning them should have at least plausible connections with the rest of the world and events of Skyrim.

I think the only 2 plausible "scenario" will be the next :

-Falmer and Chaurus on surface stealing and destroying everything and in the meantime a Forsworn rebellion in all Skyrim

-a Dlc settled when they were still the Snow Elves related to the Dwemer race and all the events that bring them at their actual state, with only Giants,Mammuths and the natives on the surface

Exactly...and they're still tough as Falmer...if you came across 5 or 6 Shadowmaster in the meantime you will understand why

I want a dwemer ruin fortress that can be owned with me complete with pet Falmer, Chaurus, and Dwemer automaton guards and followers that respawn every so often.
