Whales....like not just for show. Like actually get to hunt them down or something. Not into hunting them just that...I wondered if its possible to possess a whale and kill a ship?

No there won't be. They are just a part of the world. Also while possessing something you can't do anything but move with it. Depending on the creature you get different bonuses in the movement. Fishes can swim, dogs are really fast, people (depending on the situation) are great for a stealthy approach. (especially guards or the target itself)
