HAHA! Thank you so much! that's so cool.

Thats looks spot on to me...Though Im probably a tad to young to know the meaning behind his choice of avatar.

I just fell in love with the name and kind of adopted it.

I have to say these are absolutely amazing... Much better than I could ever do...one time I tried to draw the iron helm, and it looked like Batmans mask...

Honestly, I'm better when I'm drawing something from real life, too. Some of my best work is from going to figure drawing classes.

At some point I'd like to take some good art classes. I feel like I've kind of tapped out my skill and would like to find ways to further it.
I wish I'd continued with my art. My Art teacher was kinda disappointed when I said wasn't taking it. The problem is that even good artists work only really seems to get noticed when they're dead.

Love this thread! I would be very grateful if you drew my character, too:

Ariake, Breton Spellsword, neutral good, dual wields two swords, one enchanted with fire, the other with lightning, also does Destruction (fire and lightning) and Alteration. Relies on skill and finnese rather than brute force.
Here are the pics:

You are very talented! You know what would be cool, if Bethesda or GameStop, etc. would hire you to do these on the spot at a future TES game launch. "So you like to play as a Mage using Restoration wards? Well here you are! Enjoy the game!" I hope you get to continue your artwork. My dad painted landscapes etc. for a hobby. Unfortunately that gene skipped over me.

I wish I could draw better. I'm really good at accurately copying things in real life, or other pictures, but if I have to make it up as I go along it is awful. I just don't get how people can just picture things in their minds and then draw them from scratch.

That's the only way you learn how to draw stuff from your head. A lot of the time, drawing skill is from muscle memory. Besides, you actually lose skill if you stop drawing from reference.

In fact, many fine and commercial artists ALWAYS use references, no matter how much experience they have. References improve the quality of your art always. It's not a bad thing.

But back to the OT, keep on drawing, mate!
