I searched the forums and couldn't find any threads on it, so I thought that I could possibly introduce and start a discussion about PWE's freshest MMO.

War of the Immortals is the sequel to Perfect World Entertainment's previous game Battle of the Immortals. A lot of aspects are similar, but at the same time a lot have been refined, improved, and balanced in WoI. Both are set in the same world, only WoI is actually set before BoI takes place.

As far as gameplay goes, it's heavily based around quests rather than grinding for levels. There are eight classes and a lot of things to do to keep you entertained. It feels really unique to me. It's still in open beta, so there are going to be adjustments and level cap raising along with unlocking new areas.

Free MMOs and anime inspired over-the-top art is not my cup of tea.

It's a lot better than any free MMO I've played.

Never heard of the developer or game, and imo doesn't really look that interesting. I'm done with MMO's anyway, all the waiting for GW2 has made me tired of them.
