Warning about Forsworn Conspiracy and Noone Escapes from Cid

Ok so I don't want to spoil it for anyone but this caused me to have to reload my previous save file so I want to warn people before the same thing happens to them. I completed the two quests and there's a problem: if you have any quest items in your inventory, like say The Elder Scroll, you lose them at the beginning of the second quest and the problem is that when you get all of your stuff back at the end of it you won't get any of the quest items with it... When this happened to me I lost the Destruction Ritual Spell quest item along with The Elder Scroll which means my character could never complete the main quest at all since I haven't made it to Elder Knowledge yet... I wanted to warn everyone because though there are a few quest items I'd like to get rid of and would use this to do so it can potentially become a serious problem that ruins your game...

I did receive one single quest item back... Margaret's Journal from the first of these two quests and I'm apparently STILL not allowed to drop it... This not being able to put quest items down is becoming a serious problem since they are loading me down with massive amounts of weight, especially The Elder Scroll since it weighs 20 pounds... Who the H*** Makes a scroll that weighs 20 bloody pounds?!?!?!

When I was given my items back while still in the mine, my quest items were also
missing. But, as soon as I went outside and the fight in Markarth started, my
quest items came back.

I had the same thing happen as ambient enigma. They popped back into my inventory when I actually went outside the prison.

I refuse to complete that quest bc my one character will never go to jail, and i don't want to destroy the entire town. There is supposedly a way to sneak kill the first guard that confronts you and end the quest but you don't go to the next. Not going to bother with it, although i would like to stick it to the silver-blood family (they are douches)

Actually that's when I looked and found all of my quest items missing... The only thing I did inside the prison was reequip my normal gear... I left when the fight broke out not wanting anything to do with a fight I had no reason to be in and all of the quest items were missing... Tried leaving the city as well and they were still gone... I just don't want other people to lose their stuff like I did... Granted I had saved right before I started working on the Forsworn Conspiracy quest again but it was still a pain...

Yeah there's a reason I save so often and this is it... Daggerfall taught me to do so as it would tend to glitch and either get you killed falling into the void pre 2.13 patch or while porting out of it post 2.13 or simply crash...
