Warning! Do not download "patch" 1.6 if you haven't

The lag only becomes less apparent, but it happens more frequently. Also you will experience major texture and loading issues if your game is anything like mine. Basically they only fixed nirnroots. Woopdey [censored]in doo.

Played for a few hours yesterday with the patch, had no problems with lag. Will continue to monitor the game's behavior though.

+1. I never thought I say this, because everyone's level of tolerance is different but I'm seeing all these issues even with a new character, just as coming out of Helgen. But keep 1.5. Unless you really, really, really want horse combat. Game ran better with Atomic nirnroot (maybe 'cause I was blinded most of the time)

Edit: If you do decide to install this... thing. Go have a run from whiterun to rorikstead. Or take a tour near riften before installing. You are going to miss those good times :)

Have noticed that Frames per second has dropped greatly. I too have deleted ALL things Skyrim and began as if I had just brought the game home. Before the patch the game had these mini freezes or hiccups, I call them, several times every minute. Now it still has those several times a minute AND Frame rate drops too. Also Textures now pop in and out at random every few minutes.
Was really excited about this patch too. I've been waiting 9 months since release night on 11/11/11, to finally dig into this game, and at first I was pretty optamistic/ excied when I first played it back then. Even to the point of often defending it right here on these forums. It's beyond that now. Very upsetting.

I'm glad you noticed the problem too I thought I was the only one. I have issues with lag also when I'm on horseback. The camera is a lot more twitchy after the patch and lags randomly. Off horseback I do encounter an occasional hiccup here and there that is more common after this patch.
