Warrior, weapon skills

Post » Mon Jan 07, 2013 11:22 pm

Hello, my character is a warrior, bearing a mace + shield
And also a bow

I know that I am supposed to improve and progress in 1-hand-weapon and archery (besides heavy armor & smithy & blocking)
Am I supposed to improve also my 2-hands-weapon skill even I don't use it?

Or should I use also a 2-hands-weapon sometimes to progress in this field? But if I do this, then I would not progress so efficiently with my mace+shield, so...what is more usual? what is your advice? use only my mace to progress faster or alternate between mace and 2 hands-weapons to progress in these 2 fields?

Thanks in advance :)

First off, welcome to the forums :)

You don't have to use two-handed weapons if you don't want to. There's a bunch of different type of warrior classes. Some uses two-handed weapons, some use swords, maces, and war axes, some even dual-wield them. If you decide you want to use a two-handed weapon, you would have to use it to fight to level the skill up. There's also people you can pay to "train" the skill for you to increase the level. If you use both a mace+shield and two-handed weapons, I'd make sure they stay about the same level so you can switch out whenever you want.
