Enjoyed playing the game outside. Had my laptop on a lower brightness setting so I could play for more than an hour if I felt like staying out for a bit. It was really immersive. I'm not kidding. The tree outside my window looks pretty much like the ones you see inside of Whiterun. The back looks like the plains of Whiterun a bit, only there's a huge cliff/hill that leads to a creek and forest.
Sometimes, you'll see deer just hanging out at night in the front. I pretty much was outside playing a game that had similar terrain to where I live. My dog didn't get angry when she heard the wolves in the game, strangely. I was scared she would because she's a hunter by nature, as well.
Moral of this experience? This game is really immersive if you play it outside at night. I don't go outside much due to my extreme fear of bees, but I'm fine with night time. Love it. I think it even helped me sleep better. If you got a laptop that can play Skyrim, try playing it outside sometime. It's great.
