Ok I've seen a video on youtube where a user managed to disable his compass. I'm not sure if it was a mod but I'm wondering if it possible on console ? I don't want the whole hud gone just the compass. (Yes I have no willpower)

I just do quests while they are inactivated. I see no harm in using the compass by itself.

you can change the opacity of the whole hud but not just the compass, in settings - so no health bars etc.
