Wasn't health supposed to go up every level?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 5:15 pm

I'm level 9 and a mage and the only health increases i've gotten were when i chose health as my increased atttribute.
Doesn't health go up some every level and then you can choose an additional 10 points in it?
Cuz mine doesn't seem to

No it's not. As a Mage I would put at least evey other point in health. Magicka regeneration > magicka

Your health wont go up if you pick it. Jus focus on Magicka and a little on Health if needed.

Yep, it's only going to increase if you manually select it. You can also boost it through enchanted weps/armor/apparel.

Your three attributes increase as you choose them, period (everyone starts at 100). Any other modifiers would be from enchanted gear/items.

No the only thing you get when you level is the ability to add points to health, magicka or stamina, and a perk.

Thats just not the case here. All stats default at 100, and then are increased by 10 each level. As per players choice.

It was originally stated awhile ago that every level came with a health bonus and then a choice of more health, magicka, or stamina, which is what you were thinking of, but at some point they scrapped that and now you only get to pick one to increase every level.

Are you so sure about that? If so, how? Can you be so sure there won't be spells that cost an enormous amount of
magicka like finger of the mountain? That skill in oblivion required you to be maximum level AND you had to have a
couple of enchanted pieces of gear that gave magicka to cast it, the amount of magicka you got from level ups and
focusing your points on willpower and intelligence was not enough alone. I actually had to cheat with the console to
achieve level 255 to have enough magicka to use it, at it's enormous cost of I think 516 magicka.

With an odd spell thrown in there like the one used to heat the convectors, who says there isn't a much bigger skill
to cast?

Now for the OP, get over it already, that is how this game works. Either you will get used to a new system of
game play, or you will quit because you don't like it, please don't be another whiny American, I am already
embarrassed by my fellow countrymen enough.
