Wasted opportunity

TES online means:

NO first person, FPS type combat/view
Class based gameplay
Grinding, instances, and people rushing to level cap with no content to take your time in leveling period as every single mmo has. Why does all the content always ahve to be at the level cap? Why can't the level cap be something you don't need to obtain? I don't understand this line of thinking
Loot being blocks of stats instead of interesting pieces of customization and lore
You TELEPORT around the world to travel? Seriously? The greatest part of TES was the fact that you could explore and move through the world. Bethesda is not developing it. The further they are from it, the more it will be like transformers the original franchise vs transformers the films.
Don't expect TES VI any time soon, look at the fate of every franchise gone into cookie-cutter MMO
...and they do all of this as SWTOR fails

You guys blundered hard with this one. It's going to be another 300 million dollar failure like SWTOR. The entire idea of making a WoW clone is flawed because WoW itself is dying, because people are tired of that old formula.

The one thing I like is that there won't be normal aggro and tank/healer dynamics. So why not take this further? Why not have a real sandbox game, where you have to travel and explore, and reaching some "level cap" isn't a box everyone has to check in their grind through the game? A sandbox game is what will really change the stale and rotting MMO genre. Let us kill NPCs and pay the consequences for it, and of course let the game adjust so it doesn't ruin everything. This is what originally made MMOs great; they were shared experiences and persistent worlds that everyones gameplay could effect, not just stagnant theme parks where everyone was waiting for the next ride. Maybe more in this WoW-clone model will have to have more failures like SWTOR (yes it's failing hard, to even recoup their investment they would need about 50 years at the current sub rate) and then TES online.

But maybe you can give us a fun sandbox with a persistent with risks, consequences, ways to affect the world and everyone's gameplay. The technology is really getting there for this.
But maybe the next guys can do it.

All TES games since MW have had 3rd person view that worked just fine and a large part of the player base has played all 3 latest TES games in 3rd person and 3rd person has always been something TES fans have asked Bethesda to improve on. All games up till Skyrim had a class based system as well. All TES games except MW featured instant teleportation travel anywhere in the world so this isnt new in any way.

No one is or was before this expecting TES VI anytiem soon, Fallout 4 is next for Bethesda. Bethesda didn't blunder anything, they are not making this game.
