Watch tower snow textures?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 2:48 am

I got the 360 version, running off the disc.

The watch tower outside of Bleakfalls Barrow had horrible textures on the (snow covered?) wooden boards. It's the same running from the HDD.

Are they fixing the install glitch soon? The loading times svck, so I'd like to try and get it as reduced as possible.

We don't know what Bethesda is working on right now. If past experiance to go by, they will not say anything what they are working on via patching. They are usually quiet on this. I am even surprised Gstaff even made a comment in the sticky. That is unusal, but it does show that they know of our displeasure.

It's only Sunday game has been out "legally" for 2 days, it will take some time to fix. Also don't forget that Microsoft and Sony has their "red tape" and even if Bethesda made a patch it has to go through them first and could take some time.

I was just there myself not 15 min ago and I thought the same thing. It looked like an N64 game. Honestly I own a 360 copy but havent opened it. I used a redbox coupon and rented it for $.84 just to test it out and its ugly. Im not a huge PC gamer I just PC game for PC only games like WoW, Starcraft ect and I'm tempted to just return it for a PC copy even though I didn't enjoy the PC version of Oblivion but loved the 360.

Did you try running off a memory stick? I find it so much better than running off the disk. I even started a new game since it looked so new and different. Mind you some of the shrubs still look horrible and the snow on wood is just attrocious.
