I was playing Oblivion and after a while, the game play and controls were really... awkward. After a while I said to myself "Why the hell am I complaining about Bethesda Skyrim, Oblivion before the patch was horrible." After downloading the patch, I was like "Hot damn!" The game was so much better.

What I am saying, Skyrim is a LARGE improvement to Oblivions controls, graphics and bugs and lag/fps. They learnt from their mistakes, but the bugs still are annoying, but i think that a large patch that fixes things will be done.

Does anyone think Skyrim is better? Of course you do! The quests maybe a bit droopy at times, but the experience of playing in Skyrim feels great.

Actually, I think Oblivion had a lot more depth than Skyrim, maybe not in terms of setting and lore but definitely in terms of gameplay.

I prefer gameplay elements of Oblivion and indeed Morrowind more. Skyrim is a beautiful game, but it feels as though it has been . . . Made to cater to those who don't necessarily play RPG's really.

I absolutely adore Oblivion, but I really fail to see how people can say it has more depth than Skyrim.
