A way to boost framerate !

Post » Mon Aug 16, 2010 6:26 pm

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums but I found a way to make the FPS increase for PS3. The trick is to go to your settings and go to game. From there you need to click on HUD Bobbing. Once your there increase it all the way to 100. You should see an improvement in framerate, because I know it did for me. Hope this helps !

Thats crazy it works...

only thing i can think of is that it reqires processing power to hold it still or summat, makes no real sense to me at all. i'll try it, but never convinced by these miracle cures that appear online, its probably just that u experiencing less lag at time, and it feels like frame rate is better, as im kinda lucy and have little or occasionally no lag, and frame rate is not something ive ever really noticed issues with online (more in sp tbh)

I can't believe it, it really works!

You know what else helps, turn the music volume to exactly 63. 62 or 61 will not work; it has to be exactly 63. The game runs @ 60 fps now, honestly ;)

Must me something psychological, having the HUD bubbling at 100% must make it look like it runs more smoothly

Guys, I unplugged my PS3 and punched myself in the face until I could see the game running at eleventy billion frames per nanosecond, true story, swear to God, try it.

Holy ****! this might sound crazy but I tried it and it actually works! 120 Fps and my TV can't even handle that!

Strange, it seems like it does work a bit, although ill still play with it at 0.
That much movement on screen at once is a bit too much to handle for me, heh.

Someone should offer him a job, but sadly i think this makes him over qualified to work for the makers of Crysis...he used his brain.

I just tried it and sadly there was little to no improvement. Looks like I am going to EB games to trade it in and find a game that isnt so disappointing.

i think it actually makes the frames refresh faster seeming that the framerate is improved, may make things worse in a laggy online game though

I have used 100 wobbling from day one: if those are better performances then we are really lost!
