Consoles still have good games though. You really can't expect the masses to build a $1,500 rig to play the latest games. This is a growing trend and prob won't stop any time soon.

Not bad. I miss the days when a game selling 500k copies was considered good...

Crysis and warhead sold a combined 4.5 + million copies. HOW is that not enough to remain a PC developer?!?!?!?!

Um, who needs a $1500 computer to play the latest games? I built my computer for $700 bucks 3 years ago and have upgraded the graphics card once for 200 bucks. Ive been able to play the latest games the whole time, and at 1920x1080.

I agree with almost every letter in this article, but in the comments they DO make very very good points...
Console gaming is a lot cheaper (problably the reason their games cost more -_-)
the console itself costs less then my GPU and this is probably THE reason why people will go for consoles over PC.
I myself can't stand console controllers... they are clumsy and inaccurate but still... a lot cheaper.
also with consoles you'll never wonder things like... 'will i be able to run this game?? ' and having to spend a few hundred bucks on upgrading your system.

However I still, very much agree with this whole article...
imo, consoles must die because they are indeed destroying it for us PC gamers...
