Weakness to Falmers?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 4:30 am

So recently I've come across a LOT of Falmers in the game, and I'm getting beat easily on novice difficulty. I'm level 16 with 46 light armor wearing the dark brotherhood armor. Could I have a weakness to something their doing? Like a certain attack or weapon?

Depends on a lot of things. What is your offensive skill? How are you fighting them?

And keep in mind, Skyrim isn't like Oblivion. Some enemies and monsters are just going to be too difficult to beat at early levels. Sometimes the proper thing to do is just to leave and come back later when you're more powerful.

Like Forsworn, Falmer are dangerous because they use very powerful weapons/armor. If you do kill one you'll notice that while the weapon sells for bologna, their weapons do have a lot of power. Sneak attacking with poisons is a good way to thin them out and weaken them enough to kill them. Make sure you are using good armor/weapons, too!

Went to Tolvodor's Cave solo, and found falmer breeding ground.

Took me 3 hrs to clear cause these damn things are so tough and could pretty much 1-2 shot my squishy rouge.

I think they're just high lvl enemies.

There weapons do pack a punch, but for RP purposes I had to ditch em. I mean, what kind of self respecting wood elf would use those disgusting falmer weapons.

Falmers are a bunch of meanies.

They were once a proud race of Sea Elves but became the thralls of the Dwemer (which is why you often find them in Dwemer ruins)

They're blind but they hit hard and have strong weapons.

Take it slow.

They are pretty powerful. They also fight in pretty large groups, so they can overwhelm you before you realize it. I brought Lydia with me when I first fought them and we both died a couple times, I had to heal her quickly because of the way the Falmer melee attack could hit her on accident and slay her.

The Ice Form shout helps out quite a bit with them, use it on them when they're in a single file line and finish them one by one.
