Weakness to Magic

Post » Sun Sep 16, 2012 3:29 pm

I am looking for items that come enchanted with weakness to magic, but am unable to find much. Apprentice stone is the only reliable constant source i can find for this effect. goodness this would be a lot easier if negative enchantments still existed. not to mention assassinating that way was soooo much fun in oblivion.

Also i wonder if having a weakness to magicka effects enchantments? does it also increase the magnitude like necromage does? i haven't been able to notice it if it does, and that would be rather game-breaking considering apprentice stone would be EVERYONES first choice of standing stone.

the reason i am looking for sources of weakness to magicka is i am going to make blizzard viable. maybe even instakill for a fair number of enemies. will post a video when i get a recording device to plug into my xbox. so far with apprentice stone i have it to 60 damage per second before potions. testing necromage+blizzard next to see if necromage also applies to blizzard's damage/duration.

There aren't any weakness to magic items that I know of. Though I know for sure that the apprentice stone doesn't effect any spell's potency.

Edit: Also, If your a vampire on the ps3 mages do triple damage at stage 4... So watch out...

Weakness to magic is a potion/alchemy effect, there are no "debuff" enchants that I can recall, but it certainly would be a nice addition, producing "cursed" weapons and gear, selling them in towns/areas to sabotage them, or pass them off to annoying NPCs and/or followers.

helloooo nazeem.... *ahem* i was aware of the potions, though they are extremely useful for this build, i would prefer to avoid carrying around tons and tons of potions. it's too.... erm. tedious. although i already planned on carrying them. cursed gear could make for a very nice roleplaying experiences.
OT what about necromancer's amulet? i hear rumor that it is in skyrim. i remember debuffs on it from oblivion, though they affect mostly warrior characters.

It's a (-25% or -75%) health and stamina regen de-buff.

Yeah him, I'd love to hand old Cicero an exploding dagger. There's the amulet that you get in Markarth. Is that the one you're talking about? Also the Cursed Ring of Hircine which, unfortunately, has never worked on me (never experienced a random change). More cursed items (require disenchant or quest to remove) would definitely be nice.
