As some of us are probably aware, there is a bug where the weapon racks in the house in Whiterun (Breezehome) do not work. It seems this is isolated to console users but I'm not sure. I'm REALLY hoping this gets patched soon but I could also see this being ignored completely by Bethesda as this is not a major issue and is not experienced by everyone. However, I can easily overlook the fact that the weapon racks do not work in Whiterun if they work in the house in Solitude.

That is where I plan on living permanently when I get the money. So my question is, for those who experienced this bug in Whiterun and have bought the house in Solitude, do the weapon racks work there? Is there anyone experiencing this same issue in the Solitude house?

On of my number one wishes (I know it sounds silly) was for Skyrim to have weapon racks. Now they have them, and of course they don't work for me. And by the way PLEASE do not tell me, "you have to have your weapon out, etc." First of all, no you don't, you just have to have it equipped, and secondly it just doesn't work, trust me. If anyone has any idea about this, please let me know. This is my number one, and very small complaint. I'm hoping that it will be fixed soon as my gut tells me that I will experience the same problem in the house in Solitude.

I'm on PC, the right side of weapon racks don't work for me, only the left, and it doesn't change no matter the weapon. It worked when I first fire up a new game, but after using it one, the right side never works again.

Weapon racks in the Solitude home work fine for me (PC).

Although the one in the basemant looks like it would hold 5 weapons and I can only use the center 3.

Dang. This REALLY needs to be patched. I hope Bethesda fixes this. When do they usually release their first patch? I'm sure they're all on vacation right now.

oh and here I thought it was a permanent empty rack lol tho I have the option to put books in my bookcases tho it shows I don't have any to put in even tho Im carrying books

Are you on a 360, PS3 or PC? I've been trying to figure out the problem for quite some time. I'm not making much progress, however. Again, I have a friend that also plays on Xbox and his weapons rack works in Whiterun. Very strange. I'm wondering if its the type of Xbox maybe. I play on an Elite. I really think its a bug somewhere in the series of events that happens. Maybe the order in which you buy your upgrades to the house. I don't know, but it has to be something if its a problem on one Xbox and not another.
