Weapon RacksObject Manipulation

Weapon racks and plaques aren't accessible like the bookshelves, and moving objects once picked up is dumbed down from previous Bethesda games. I cannot rotate objects in midair once they're picked up. This makes decorating properties much more frustrating than it needs to be. I would reeeeeaaaalllly appreciate a fix for these issues. I love having a fully furnished arsenal as a home. Mannequins for armor display would be super too.

This isn't a hardware or software issue, just something that you want from the game. I don't see a problem with the system as it is now.

The weapon racks are supposed to be accessible, but I have the same problem. Ive talked to other people that place their items easily in the racks but I can't interact with them. Its not a nice thing to say, but I hope many have this problem so bethesda picks it up and fixes it! whats the point to having ranks when u can't use them?

Did the people that can interact with weapon racks have the PC or 360 version?

PC Im afraid :/ Don't know if any of the 360 users can do this or if its just a few that has the problem.. should think it applies to everyone on the 360 but i remember reading a review from someone that used 360 before launch, and he wrote he used the rack :/

Btw, which house do u have the problem in? I only have the one in Whiterun, so would be interesting to know if its only that rack or if other houses have the problem as well...

I have whiterun as well. I tried one of the weapon racks in the companions hall and that didn't work either.

yeah I tried this as well, but didn't know if we were able to use the racks in "public" buildings... well we will just have to wait on bethesda to fix it ;)

As for it "not being a software problem" or it being "something I want from the game", it's something that's doable on PC so yeah it is a "software problem". As for rotating objects in mid air, it's been possible in every gamesas game for the past few years, so I'd say that this also is a "software problem". If you don't have anything helpful to offer, be someplace that's else. Don't pop on here just to school me. Numerous people are expressing frustration with these issues.
