Do weepers count towards "being seen"?

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 7:59 am

Hey.

Just wondering if not being seen by weepers count for going undetected. Also can you kill weepers and rats or do they count as kills? I dont see how killing weepers or rats can count as chaos rating as the weepers atleast are already dead and none of them can really say they "Saw you" -.-

Yes unfortunately. I was coming here to moan about that actually. As well as choking out "Granny Rags" counting as a kill.

WTF game, you don't penalize me for throwing unconscious people to the rats or tranqing people off ledges, but choking out an old lady is a kill?

What about Assassins, do they count as 'being seen'?

If they rats eat someone that you knocked out it counts as a kill.

So everyone keeps telling me, but when I throw em to the rats and finish the mission, still no kill.

Sounds wierd. This is from the official QA thread:

I’m getting stats for bodies being found or killed when I’ve rendered NPCs unconscious, why?
  • Not hiding bodies well enough after choking them out or sleep darting them can sometimes lead to other characters finding them, or worse, may lead to nearby rats cleaning them up, counting as a kill towards your character’s stats.
  • Unconscious characters won’t survive a fall from a great height, or a slip into the water which will also result in a kill towards your character stats.

It doesn't count as a kill, as you did not kill them. Not sure if that is intended though. Either way, it's a great way to dispose off bodies :P

To good to be true? :o

Can someone else confirm this? Would just like more sources not to risk my entire playthrough having to be done all over again.

No, throwing them to rats/ drowning them/ throwing them of high ledges/ etc. will all count as kills, so don't leave the unconscious in locations where bad things can happen to them.

a guard I choked fell down like from 2-3 stairs just near the bottom and died with blood flowing over now that is seriously ridiculous :/ so even if the bodies fall from ridiculously small heights they die -__-
