i went outside some cave near riften, doing a vilja quest, and suddenly as i was walking some golden leafs came towards me and started to swirl around me. i thought it was a spriggan's attack or something since its basically the same aura but no enemy was around. i thought maybe it was some curse or buff but no new buff or curse appears on the list.. its just THERE.. its been like an hour or 2 (in real life, mind you) and its still there. after a while it gets very annoying and immersion breaking. how do i get rid of it?

It may have been added by a mod.

That's a spriggan's attack if I ever saw one, I have heard a handful of times here in the forums of others having the same issue but I don't recall a fix other then loading an earlier save. Sorry

maybe if i roleplayed a druid deity or something

Marco Galvao may be right, it could have been added by a mod. I would check your mods to see .

only mods i can think of is requiem and if it did add that, it would have been a debuff/buff and it doesn't appear as neither.
