Weird campaign glitches? Post them here.

Okay, so I was playing the single player and I came across two very weird, and annoying glitches. I don't know if its a problem with the game, or with my PC, but I seriously think these need to be patched.

1. Melee button does not trigger melee attack.

This glitch would happen if I died and had to replay an area, which for me is a problem because if an enemy gets close I like to punch them to death. I'd pound the melee button, but nothing would happen, and it would only start working once I got to a new area.

2. NEGATIVE ammo for SCAR/SCARAB.

I have no clue what could trigger this glitch, but somehow the SCAR and SCARAB weapons would have negative ammo when I picked them up. I thought that it was just a display glitch and picked up some ammo from a nearby supply crate, only for the ammo to go to zero. I couldn't fire the thing, and when I tried to pick up some more ammo it would say I had the maximum amount of ammo for this weapon. The only way I found to fix this was to go the the single player menu, choose campaign, and replay mission.

Anyone else have these glitches? Anyone else have any weirder ones that deserve to be patched?

Yeah I'm getting the same ammo glitch on the xbox 360 version. I think it has to do with switching back and forth with extended mags on a gun. Pretty lame now I can use the scar or scarab for the rest of this play-through.

Yeah the melee thing was definitely a problem.
Theres also the disappearing nanocatalyst points
And sometimes after a cutscene or when you respawn your gun would be absent. As in, you had something in your hand, but couldn't see/fire it.
Also, sometimes your gun would refuse to reload and you would have to switch to an alt weapon and back to primary (applies to MP sometimes as well)
Other than that things in the SP ran pretty smoothly.

I keep getting some AI problems. Random x-ray vision through solid cover, sometimes they are able to shoot through. Also soldiers not exiting their vehicle at all (this makes the HMG ontop unable to be used).

But they need to tweak the AI overall. Its too inconsistent right now. They're either all sharpshooters or nano-fodder.

I have the same problem with melee and its super annoying. I'm using a 360 controller even on the PC version (I have my computer hooked up to my HDTV and man is it sweet!) but when I have died sometimes I cant melee using the controller or keyboard. The nanocatalyst points disappear for me all the freaking time. I can never get past 5000 before their all gone. It'll say I'm picking them up from killing aliens but not true. I also noticed that everytime I complete a level I lose all the points. Have also noticed wierd AI gliches, mostly just them not being able to get around cover or objects, or they just walk over a car and it looks like their 20ft above it. Need a new patch already! Any idea if the nano catalyst thing happens on xbox360 as well?

Sometimes the gun stops shooting bullets and just plays the sounds without doing damage.

Sometimes switching weapons can be amazingly slow, even entirely dysfunctional. It'll take upwards of 4 seconds for the switch to actually occur.

Switching weapons also doesn't make any sense. If I try to switch fire modes but the gun I'm using only has one fire mode then it'll switch to the other gun's alternate fire mode. If I try to switch weapon when in the alternate fire mode then it just disables the alt fire mode and doesn't switch weapons until I switch again. When I click the switch weapons button it should switch the damn weapon and remember what fire mode it was in for the next time I switch back to it. When I switch fire modes it should switch the fire mode only for the gun I'm currently holding and do nothing if the gun only has one fire mode; NOT switch weapons and fire mode for a different weapon.

Reloading is cannot be cancelled and reloading is automatic. If I run out of bullets I can't just use melee or switch weapons, I have to wait for the reloading to finish.

There's this level later in the game where there's a lot of alien pods. You can get stuck in the crevice the pod makes with the ground. I was crouching near it to avoid detectiong from one of the aliens and i managed to get stuck there. Couldn't jump out or nothing. Of course this description may be too vague for someone to find out exactly what level this occurred in.

I play the pc version, or at least wanted to.

The characters do not appear (although their voices are still there), which means I can't leave the submarine at the start!
