How much of any of the dlc that was released for Skyrim was made by a totally different studio in Japan? The workload of that studio has nothing to do with anything that Bethesda is or isn't working on.

About flipped when I saw this morning there was a game announcement on bethblog.

At first I was dissapointed it wasnt a bethesda game studios game, but the trailer and screenshots have got me really anticipating this game. Looks like a good reboot for survival horror.

Plus, dat spider lady. This game is gonna be terrifying in a good way.

It seems you don't understand the set up. This game has nothing to do with Bethesda Game Studios who are responsible for making the TES series and Fallout. It is being published by Bethesda Softworks and being made by Tango Game Works.

BGS finishing their Skyrim activities is purely coincidental to this game announcement and BGS have moved on to another project, many hope and expect it to be Fallout 4.

Looks cool. I love Shinji Mikami's games. I look forward to hearing specific details about the nature of the horror in the game. The teaser looks more western than I was anticipating (Clive Barker). There's some pretty stiff competition when it comes to horror. I mean, look at this years line-up. Maybe they can't compete with Bethesda when it comes to tech or budget but there's still a lot of interesting projects out there.

Side note: Weird that you announced a new game exactly a year after the last Prey 2 update. Those initial Prey 2 cancellation rumours gave me more scares than even a horror maestro like Mikami could ever muster!
