Well---I Got Halo 4 Finally...

Post » Fri Jun 07, 2013 1:31 pm

Well I finally got Halo 4 and although I haven't tried the MP yet, the main story and everything in it (graphics and such) is amazing (specially playing on a 42 inch HD LCD screen). Only down side is that I don't have gaming headsets to REALLY experience the sounds in the game---I may have to remedy that one day. I have a 14 day Gold Membership trial code which I'm not sure if I'm going to use it or not---I'll think about it if anyone wants to do some halo.

Halo 4 multiplayer really svcks. The community is only at about 20k players currently and drops every week. 343 really did a bad job for the halo fans on this game. I'd stick to the single player.

I'll probably just do that---so far the graphic in this game are breath taking the attention to detail on the characters faces are impressive.

I thought it was a total disappointment. Haven't touched it since November.

Halo multiplayer has always svcked, it's just a bunch of jerkoffs jumping around throwing grenades or unloading machine guns into someone as they rush to finish you with an elbow. Then you have the vehicle maps for extra cheese to mix in with the already cheesy gameplay

Stick with single player on every Halo

I used to enjoy Halo MP with just my sister, her husband and their friends---we would just play SWAT or Juggernaut---and it was a blast...I sure do miss those days, hell it was the only reason why I ever bought a 360 was to keep in touch with my sister but they seldom play their 360 anymore.

Wasn't a big fan of it. Certainly a well made game, just not what I wanted from Halo. The story was so-so and while I respect them trying to give it some depth with Cortana's bit, I thought it wasn't handled well. It just sort of happened and before you knew it, the whole thing was over. I also didn't like the multiplayer much. It CODified things and the reason I play Halo is to play Halo.

Single player and Spartan Ops are really fun and they build on the story greatly if you follow.

The multiplayer is pretty stale, but what's new?

See, I couldn't get into Spartan Ops. It was nice at first, but once I realized most of the missions and the levels they took place in where the same, I stopped caring. Tis' a shame though. The story bits were very well done, if only they could have translated them from the cut-scenes to the actual gameplay.

Compared to past Halo games, the single player was mediocre IMO. I didn't like what they did with their rebalancing of weapons. I didn't like the multiplayer much either. Overall, worst halo game I've played. Halo 3 is still my favorite. Good campaign, amazing multiplayer and community. Halo 4 was disappointing. I dread it every time I play it. I've heard the rebalanced it again, so I might revisit.

It shows whats wrong with videogame design really. It's just shooting a bunch of baddies to get to see the next beautifully rendered cutscene, giving the whole experience an arcade-y type feel.

I found this game on sale for $19.99 a month after it came out..

Rainbow Six Vegas did a good job with Thunt, just shooting a bunch of baddies. I'm sure you can still find matches to this day
