Wellspring C++ crash

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 8:13 am

When going into wellspring for the first time the game crashes and I get the below error. According to the Microsoft Support website it is a programming issue in the game itself.

Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library
runtime error
R6025
- pure virtual function call

Not sure what to do now that the game is completely rendered useless now.

The exact same message error for me, but in my case if I try to start multiplayer. I completed the singleplayer campaign, flawlessly.

I suspect that message error is a random windows gibberish and means squat for the solution of our nightmare.

You might try getting a better version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package located here...

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328

This problem sounds like its with the C runtime Library, MSVCRT.DLL. I believe rage came with this package though it might have been corrupt on the Download. If you got a disc then I dont know what to tell you.
