Weresharks

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 4:01 pm

So I've been reading through the lore of the elder scrolls and it makes mention that there are Weresharks in the ocean and since skyrim has the most available coast line of the games I was wondering if they were in or not because that would be badass.

Being a Wereshark would be great; but I doubt they'll be included in even the next Elderscrolls game.

I don't know that they are not in but I know they are not in. If that makes sense.

Maybe Summerset Isles or something they might be in?

Oh those are actually in the game. You just can't tell because they only transform when you aren't looking.

I fail to see how this is a desirable transformation. It'd basically be used for increasing speed in the water right (and chasing away the slaughterfish I suppose)? I'm just thinking that unless Beth were to create more expansive underwater environments this would be unnecessary, albeit a very cool transformation.

Well even if you can't transform into them having a creature underwater that is actually a formidable enemy would add to the game so you would always have to be on your guard... And who's to say they cant leave the water in wereshark form, I mean there's no real rules for what a mythological can and can't do.

Very true! When you put it that way, I'd love to see some weresharks chasing npcs up and down the beaches  Unfortunately I have to agree with the majority though, don't see this one happening.

There should be some type of deterent to going in certain waters, like
Kraken or large ice alligators or sealions that eat your face. You know?

Its just like "oh noes a puny fish what will i do?" instead of
"holy crap i just got my face riped off by a sealion!?!"

Of course, Dr. Evil. They're standard issue.

I can see were-sharks being in a future game where we attack the Sload in their underwater Coral Kingdoms. Epic....
