Even if we have to wait for a month or two to get another game going.

You won't have to wait that long. I'm planning on running a game based thematically on gothic horror, set in the late 1800's in England. Call it a mix of Poe, Stoker, and Doyle. If I can pull it off, of course (fingers crossed). I'll post a more detailed plan for when I might host on Monday. If anyone is interested in hosting in the meantime, please, don't hesitate on my account. Jump right in there! :D

Yeah, a set host rotation doesn't cut it... It wasn't really the case before, it's just that there were more stalwarts, and since some of them stalwart hosts were quite competent, it was easy to slot them in ahead of a fresher face. Variety is the spice of life, though, and newer hosts can bring with them fresh perspectives on evidence or game mechanics. It doesn't always work out, but that's part of the process. Besides, waiting on experienced hosts would hardly be feasible these days... Doing so would decrease the likelihood of getting a game started even moreso.

Frank, I paid only passing attention, but from what I saw you were a capable host and dealt with the many facets of hosting well. The evidence may have been straightforward, and with relatively few posts day-to-day, it led to quite little in the way of argument or obfuscation. Part of that would fall upon the short and simple write-ups, but part is due to the attitudes of the individual players, and you can't really control that.. Still, it did take several days for the innocents to catch on, which isn't a bad thing at all. Overall, well done.

So, I'm full up this week, but I can host next week, if nobody jumps in first.

Looked like a good game, Frank. Especially for your first try. Proud of you. :)

Sorry for not participating. Had no idea we had a game going until half-way through.

Huzzah! After two first-timer hosts hosting in a row, it'll be nice to have someone who knows the business in-and-out controlling the crazy train!

I really enjoyed the write-ups in this game. But that long weekend really threw me out of whack and I kinda lost interest...

The first game I joined in Wereolf was hosted by you, and it was amazing! And you've hosted countless of times, more than twice the amount of times I've played and hosted werewolf combined! You need to host! it's 'gunn be epic! :twirl:

Can't blame you. Big ol' essay attacked me, had to put it down.

And thanks for all the positive feedback guys, preciate it. Northwind, what setting do you have in mind?

Northwind, here comes a wind from the south, bringing the topic back up to the cold north of page history! It has the sound of a bump!

I'm sure there's a lot of eager forumites waiting for the sign-up thread.

Ugh.... my least favorite thing about hosting is making the sign-up thread, with the intro, and the rules, and the whatnot. I'll put one up tomorrow, but if you are expecting something fancy, then think again.....

Oh noes, the sign up isn't fancy. Perish the thought, how could I ever attempt to play now. The sign up didn't have 50k emoticons plastered all over it and fancy background decor music.
