Werewolf Bloodlines?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 3:45 pm

So, I have noted a few differences in the werewolves in Bloodmoon and Skyrim, mainly that the Bloodmoon variant have forced transformations and have to kill(or feed) regualry, while the Skyrim variant can change at will and no not have to feed on humanoid creatures.
So, looking at this is it possible that there is more than one Bloodline of werewolves with slightly different characteristics similar to the Vampire Bloodlines in TES?

Well, they all have the same origin. Good ol' Hircine. It's possible that there are multiple types but I get the feeling it was more of a design choice. Might not of had time to implement a system like the one used in Morrowind.

Yes, but all vampires originally came from Molag Bal, yet they have more clans and bloodlines than I can ever remember.

Could be that you had to feed regularly in Bloodmoon because Hircine's influence was far more direct.
