Hello and welcome to Werewolf, a competitive, online murder-mystery! If you enjoy problem solving, intrigue and deception, Werewolf may be the game for you.
In Werewolf, several players are randomly selected as "wolves", while the rest of the players are known simply as "innocents". Each night the wolves claim another innocent life, while it is the job of the innocents to work together to root out and execute each wolf before the innocents are overcome. But when anybody could be a wolf, the problem is deciding who can be trusted.
Setting
Wonderland: After taking bad drugs, a group of unsuspecting youngsters, are transported to a world, of wonder where dreams can come true. But be warned wonderland is also a land of darkness, and nightmares. Be careful and watch your backs, because if you stare too long into the wonderment, the nightmares may just stare back.

Playing the Game:
Werewolf is played out in 22 hour periods known as days. Each day begins with a write-up, a narrative piece of writing explaining the events of the previous day as well as (usually) a murder. Players must use the evidence within this piece in order to figure out who among them are wolves, while the wolves themselves must attempt to shift suspicion onto other players and remain alive. Each day each player may vote for a single player they believe is a wolf, while the wolves may (secretly) send me the name of a player they wish to target. At the end of this 22 hour period the day ends and the votes are tallied. Two hours later the proceeding write-up is posted, detailing the execution, murder by the wolves and other events of the day, and the cycle continues until either all wolves are eliminated, or there are more wolves than innocents. If possible you should try to participate every day; a player who is completely inactive for three consecutive days or four days total will be killed off in the interests of moving the game forwards.
However, the innocents are not alone in this struggle. Several players will be randomly selected at the beginning of the game to be the recipients of powers which can be used to help the innocents, such as protecting selected players from the wolves or searching individual players. These players will be a great help to the innocent team... As long as the wolves don't figure out who they are.
In addition, you will receive some additional help in this game, from several of the characters in the Wonderland universe.
The innocents must work together quickly in order to survive; on days 3 and 6, the wolves can convert one of the innocents to their side. If the wolves survive day 9, they win the game.

In order to make the game smoother and easier for everybody concerned, there is a format for posting in the Werewolf thread that we request you follow. Simply type and underline your character's name at the top of the post, bold and red your votes and questions to the host, italicize actions performed by your character and precede out of character posts with "OOC".
Roles:
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l253/mr_e12345/werewolfprimerroles.jpg
In this game there will be one Sneak, one matchamker, a bookie, two Angels, an evil matchmaker and two wolves.
If the wolves suspect an innocent player of having a role, they may attempt a Role Kill by notifying me. If that player does indeed have a role which the wolves can identify, they die regardless of any protection they receive. If they don't, the kill fails.
If a conversion target is protected by an angel, the conversion target is randomized.
The bookie attempts to predict who will be targeted by the wolves. If correct he/she gets free protection for a day, if the wolves guess the bookie, they will bypass the bookies protection as well.
The evil matchmaker, know the identitities of the wolves, and wins if the wolves win, however he cannot communicate with the wolves through Pm's. The evil matchmaker bonds every three nights starting on night 2.
Regular matchmaker, bonds 2 players every three days starting on day one.
Angels protect every night, but cannot protect the same person two nights in a row. The Angels may not protect themselves.
