Werewolf – Medical Marvel

The setting:

It’s modern day, year 2012. Your characters has been invited to a special science-themed Big Brother show, in the beautiful Glenwood mountains near the city of Monroe, in Utah. The show is called, Medical Marvel. Upon entering the house, you are greeted by the game’s host, Mr. Jeremy Taylor. The house itself is nice and large, built inside the mountain. It has a handful of large bedrooms, in addition to a many other areas, some smaller than others.

Spoiler

General layout:
The rooms are at the bottom level, middle level or upper level. It doesn’t have any practical difference though, because the entire house/bunker is filled with stairs leading up and down.

List of small locations:
Men’s Restroom.
Women’s Restroom.
Hosts Office.
Bunker Entrance.
Kitchen.
Parlour.
Corridors.
Luxury Suite.
Elevator.
Lab.

List of large locations:
Lodging A
Lodging B
Lodging C
Lodging D (note: if a smaller amount of players join than the max 30, lodging D, E and F will be three person rooms and count as small areas to search).
Lodging E
Lodging F
Dining hall
Mail Hall
Artificial gardens

Roles:

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l253/mr_e12345/werewolfprimerroles.jpg

Gravedigger – Can choose a dead player (killed by anything else than a slothing, but the player must be part of the good side) and communicate with them freely through PM’s. The very same day someone dies, the gravedigger can choose to use his power. If he doesn’t use it, the dead player will be given dead lounge access as normal and can never be the target of a gravedigging attempt again.

Angel – Can protect a player each night. (except for conversions days).

Sneak – Can search a player every second day. Searches happen after conversion.

Match-Maker – Can bond two players who can freely PM with each other. If one dies, both die. If one of them is or becomes a wolf, he is tainted by evil (basically an evil innocent. A sneak who becomes tainted by evil cannot search players, for example). The match-maker cannot bond him/herself to anyone. One bond on day 2 and one bond on day 5. Extra note: Bonding will happen after an execution or murder. If one (or both) of the matched-attemption targets died due to execution or murder, no bonding will happen. It will, however, still count towards the 2 bonds the match-maker can attempt, the first being at day 2 and the second at day 5.

Archwolf: The leader of the bad guys who the good side is trying to get rid of. He / she chooses a player to be murdered every day, except for every 3rd day. On those days, a conversion will take place instead.

Wolves: Bad guys who the good side is trying to get rid of.

Misc-rules:

Sloth’s will be killed if they are inactive for 3 days. (third day = death, so joining and not posting at all will cause you to die on day 4’s write-up. Being inactive in the middle of the game will also cause this to happen)

Role-reveal by outright spelling out your role in the RP, even if it’s false, results in losing the protection from angels.

Execution for a single kill: 20% needed.

Double: 60% or more of the votes, divided amongst two players. The difference between them may be exactly 1 vote, as long as the 60% is still met.

Murders: An angels protection can be ignored if the archwolf guesses the role of a player correctly. You can never guess “innocent”.

A conversion cannot be protected from. The days a conversion would happen will replace the normal murders.

Days will end at 6 PM (GMT +3).

Character:

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l253/mr_e12345/werewolfprimercharacter.jpg

In the beginning, players choose where to live. Depending on how many players join, the number of houses will change. The starting amount is, however, 5 people per room and there’s a max of 6 rooms. (max 30 player game). The location you sleep in must be chosen before you know the roles, to stay true to the events of the story. So, when writing your character sheet, include the preference you’d like to live in, including all of the rooms. Posting sooner than others as well as ranking a room higher than others will let you stay there. (for example, I can say that my character wants to sleep in room B, C, A, D, F, E. priority goes to room B, but if it’s full, I’ll try to place your character in room C. Etc.

Char-sheet:
Name: First and last, nicknames are fine too.
Age: Must be over 13.
Gender: Not too many options here.
Physical Description: Things like build (heavy/light), height, hair colour and other details.
Clothing: What it says on the packet.
Possessions: Must include a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 items.
Occupation: What did your character do outside the house, before he was invited to the game-show?
Personality: How does your character view the world? How does he act in different situations? What are his values, beliefs, views and morals? How does he feel about things in a general sense? This section is very important, so please include as much detail as possible.
History: Does not need to be long.
Room-sleeping-preference order: If you didn’t read about this, it’s up above there somewhere.

Green and bolded players have been accepted and the player has sent me a PM through which I can contact them.
Bolded players have been accepted, but I’m currently waiting for a PM. (please send me one as soon as possible if your name is bolded in the list, but not green and you’ll be doing me a huge favor!)
Normal names are players who are interested but haven’t posted a character yet, or their character needs some working to be accepted.

Reserve a spot for me please. Training will mercifully end this Sunday when school starts so I'll be able to get much more involved again.

Just a question, does the match making occur before or after an execution/murder?

Reserve me a spot please.

Good question. In this game it'll be after. If one (or both) of the matched-attemption targets died duo to execution or murder, no bonding will happen. It will, however, still count towards the 2 bonds the match-maker can attempt, the first being at day 2 and the second at day 5.

Sneak – Can search a player every day. If they search a player the same night that player would be converted to a wolf, he will simply see their old role and not the new wolf-role.

I still don't like this idea. It's a useless nerf, imo.

Good that you pointed that out.

I was using an old text-chunk to create this thread and that wasn't supposed to read that way. It was supposed to be the way I've written it now: One search every second day, after conversions.
