Werewolf Thread #4

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 2:06 am

Alright guys, same basic rules as before.

DO NOT post ANY links that lead to leaked content. That means NO leaked pics, NO leaked gameplay, NO streams and ABSOLUTELY NO LINKS TO TORRENTS. If you post links to these things, you will get suspended and/or banned AND this thread will get shut down by mods.

If you guys want to talk specifics about leaked content, that's fine AS LONG AS YOU USE SPOILER TAGS.

Also, DO NOT ASK FOR PEOPLE TO PM YOU LINKS OF LEAKED CONTENT!

What are the benefits of being a werewolf?

Fleas and the odd desire to urinate on enemies in order to establish dominance.

Didn't Bethesda say that they were not in? I've never seen a company completely deny something and then it appear in the game. My memory on this topic is a little hazy.

Bethesda didn't but a German website that did an interview with a "Bethesda Artist" said they would not be in. 99% chance the interview was a fake now.

All im saying is that people who are coming up in deinal that are not in it, are being very silly, people who believe transformation viewing would be not legit are also being very silly. In simple terms, werewolves own without even trying.

What are the benefits of being a werewolf?

Spoiler
You're virtually indestructible, you can run significantly faster and jump significantly higher plus you can wreak havoc on enemies. The question is, what are the negatives of being a werewolf? The answer is one: weakness to silver.

I see, but at that point, when will we turn into one. Is it dependent on the moons? Or do we just put a ring on (I hope not).

From what I know, you can transform once a day at any time you want, the ring gives you additional transformation per day.

That is the same mechanic as daggerfall, so presumably they are Daggerfall esque werewolves, not bloodmoon esque.

I'm expecting details of the mechanics to be simmiler to daggerfall's:

Only forced transformation on a full moon (24 hours transformation) And on these days you have to kill an npc or suffer an outrages health penalty (the bloodlust)

NICE! I'm freaking stoked about his. I really didn't care for the idea at first, but I'm pretty excited about it for some reason now.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the curse itself is going to be a bit more under your control this time around, something along the lines of: the player can transform at will and back again during a certain period of time, but only once. The ring will simply allow for a greater number of transformations. My two cents!

Well if this is true I was definitely on the right track! :celebration: but it seems I was a bit too slow on the delivery lol

That’s cool, because I’m planning on playing a full-blown mage. So whenever I need to fight, I can just switch to werewolf form and demolish my foes.

This gone way too far already, you all proven you're not fit for this kind of discussion. The last thread were full of posts asking for leaked information thru PMs and some even posted leaked images. And how many of you reported those posts? None. None at all.

This talk about leaked information ends now.
