Werewolf:
Underground
Day 6
Well, with the early start the group had plenty of time to chat and dicuss amongst themselves about what to do. The morning was filled with long lists of dedicated facts about who could possibly be the wolf, contributed by Enya (Clintosthegreat), Ukko (Gorbad), and Gordon (Xrayman). While they argued with each other, the Mayor happily sang to himself about buckling his shoe. The unbearable arguing was finally stopped when none other then Jamie Gray (Saintpatty) took a stand. “You damn idiots! We’ve been so [censored] busy arguing with each other that we barley have any time to search anywhere! I hope your all [censored] happy!”
With that statement, the group became dead silent; all except for the Mayor, who was still singing to himself.
One two.. Buckle my shoe
Three, four.. Block the door
Five, six.. Take, a lit!
Seven, eight, set it up straight.
Nine, Ten, here comes the boom boom man!
“Hahahahahahaha” The Mayor laughed to himself. “Its so simple..”
The group turned towards the Mayor, who contiued to sing even with the watchful eyes. Ukko (GorbadPS3) and Alice (El Joe) decided to help the poor guy out, lifting him off the ground and to his feet. Whiskey (Woolly) did a quick check-up on the poor man, scanning his eyes. He stated that nothing seemed to be wrong with him, and the group just shrugged it off.
“He’s probably just tired! Lord knows I am. I’d be singin’ too if I had a better attitude. And a better voice,” Stated Harry Stamper (8-Bit). With the Mayor’s situation handled, the group decided that with their given time that they should search Supply Shed Two and houses 1-4, with Gordon (Xray) leading an extremely small search team to the houses and Luxe (Dalek) leading the search of the Supply shed.
Gordon’s team was up first, and they quickly dispersed over to the neighborhood containing Houses 1-4. The Mayor had given Gordon the key, so he opened the front door and the team began searching. The first thing the group noticed was that small droplets of green good were stained on the carpet. They were hard to notice if you weren’t looking for them, which might explain why no one in the house had said anything about it. The group then made their way up the stairs and began searching each of the rooms for evidence. Unsurprisingly, the group found nothing of interest in Luxe, Jay, Enya, or Alice’s bedrooms. With disappointment across their faces, the small team decided it was best to just leave.
______
Soon the second search team arrived at their destination at the far reaches of Underground City. They entered the Supply Shack and quickly got to work. Darren Giles (Northwind) started looking over the Generator, which to everyones surprise, wasn’t actually smashed. In fact, after some further examination, they determined that just one, simply wire was cut and that was the end of it. “Ehh, looks like whoever did this didn’t want to leave a mess. Still, it takes about as much knowledge to smash a generator as it does to cut a single little cord, so I dunno how much this is gonna help,” Stated Darren.
Looking around some more, Luxe (Dalek) took a look at some of the paint supplies. Turns out, their blue “Utility” paint had gone missing, and was stolen. However, whoever had taken it accidently left a trail of slight dripping paint. Jamie Gray (Saintpattyk) volunteered to follow it, and the rest of the group shrugged and let him go off.
While the rest of the group was busy, the Mayor crawled over to a corner and began playing patty-cake with himself. He took a look at his watch, noticed the time, and shouted to the rest of the group “Its curfew!” He shouted. “Now what does that mean again..”
“It means the lights..” Began John Drake (River), who was cut off when the lights within the shack were shut off. “Oh, great, now were in the dark!” Someone randomly shouted.
After a few minutes, they managed to make their way outside, which turned out to be even darker then inside, if you can believe that. As the began pouring out of the shack, a sharp scream struck through the air, and the Mayor jumped to his feet and sprinted at lightening speed towards the sound, leaving the rest of the group in the dust.
After making his way through the city, he discovered that Jamie Gray (Saintpatty) was at the lift, and was surrounded by the usual; wolves. Jamie had somehow gotten his hands on a torch, which was now on the floor as he tried to escape his pursuers. The Mayor closed in fast, and stood off to the sidelines and simply watched.
The Alpha stood tallest among the group, and he and the other wolves were circling around their prey. The Alpha stopped circling, pointed towards the man, and made a slashing notion with its neck. The Mayor noticed one of the smaller wolves seemed reluctant to attack, but when the other small wolf quickly made his way towards Jamie, it joined in. Together, the took down the man, scratched his body up a bit, then slit his throat. After he was slain, the two howled in union at their success. The Alpha nodded approvingly, and then turned its attention towards the Mayor, pointing at him with its claws.
“Oh, no, don’t have your minions come after me,” The Mayor shouted. “Fight me yourself, big boy!”
The wolf smiled at his “request”, but accepted his challenge, nudging at its comrades to stay back; the Alpha then proceeded charged forward at the Mayor, just as the rest of the inhabitants began showing up, who had followed the light source emitting from the torch. The Mayor also charged forward, except at a much faster pace, and managed to strike the first blow on the wolf. The citizens of Underground City gasped, amazed, while the Mayor proceeded to literally throw the wolf off and back to his other companions. The Mayor laughed, and the Alpha growled, almost ready to charge again. The alpha gazed around and noticed the growing number of citizens showing up.
The Alpha stood up, made what looked like a spread out motion with his hands towards his minions, and then extinguished the torch, leaving everyone in total darkness.
After the battle was over, the Mayor headed over to city hall and ordered his remaining police forced to escort the group home, and to have them meet at the center of hall once again for discussion.
______
And so, all slept soundly within their beds as the night slowly crept away. Come morning, they gathered once again in front of City Hall, and the group began discussing away. Hopefully, they would be able to snag a wolf tonight, because if not; well, they tried not to think about the “if not”.
