Why would they change it? It makes no sense at all!

Werewolves do not simply wake up with their clothes on after they shifted into a large wolf. Wolfman, Underworld, Van Helsing or any other werewolf movie, book or tale never had werewolves keep their clothes upon transformation. If Bethesda did this, I would definetly lose hope considering everything is losing sense and starting to gradually be downgraded.

I agree it doesn't make sense, but does it make sense for Vampire Lords to keep their clothes on? No.

Most likely because of the Underworld reference. Marcus' clothes became his skin and his vampiric form came out. Vice versa. Do I like it? Eh, I'm indifferent.

Maybe the VL transformation is an illusion? Otherwise yeah it doesn't make sense.

Armor will be the new Hulk Pants. It will stretch and stretch to impossible proportions, just so you don't have to reequip items when you come out of your transformation.

I like the fact that you lose your clothes when you transform... though it is annoying to have to reequip every single piece when I'm wearing a full set of armor and jewelry.

(wishes for a favorite slot which you could assign all armor to)
