Western morrowind

So i was looking a maps before ESO's release and it looks weird, specifically in the Morrowind-Skyrim border. In eso's interactive map we see the border of Skyrim and western Morrowind-http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/map/tamriel

However in arena and older maps from before eso the map is like this-http://fessicsfavorites.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/empire-of-tamriel.jpg

Notice how in eso map Windhelm is where Blacklight should be and to close to the coast. The Eastmarch hot water spring thingies are also far to close to the coast and if you played Skyrim you would know this as well as if you looked at maps. So what happened? Where did Blacklight go? Is Zenimax just bad at reading maps? I assume they knew Blacklight was there but decided to ignore it but why?

I know what you mean. First time I saw that map, the position of Daggerfall confused me to no end. And the position of the cities in Skyrim doesn't line up with the game. I think this map was made at the same time as Oblivion was being made, in '05/'06.

I think Daggerfall is placed where it's supposed to in ESO. Sort of. There are two places on the interactive map that have what seems to be bridges and ports. I assume one of those is Daggerfall the city.
