I'd like as much choice/detail as possible, but I don't think they would have spent that much time and resources on it - as long as there is somewhere to stash my stuff I'm happy :)

I think it should be more or less like Raven Rock but more options of where to pt your house. You should be allowed to build a house anywhere that you are excepted by the people or anywhere where there are no people or "enemies nearby".

I like the idea of personalizing a house for myself, the sims jokes are pretty funny, lionhead's forums get it alot with fable 3 yet thats a brilliant little game.

People like customization and having your own home you can decorate endlessly in a world like the elder scrolls its pretty epic.

I just hope we can hang a dragons head above the fire place.

i would love to have all the customization possible, me and my friends have often talked about designing your own castle with your own trophies, and towers, and guards and that type of thing... our ideas are crazy and probably won't get put into the game, but more customization would be nice

I would like to build my own house in full detail. But the problem with that is the infinate possibilities would be overwhelming to most people, including myself.
I thought Oblivion's houses and house extras were done perfectly. So I would like it to be like Oblivion except with extra rooms (like a training room)

I voted as realistic as I could. Because I Bethesda won't put tons of resources into houses.

I want a variety of choices, but nothing a la Sims.

I'd like to create my own house in-game. It would be an awesome feature.

It does not need to be very advanced (like The Sims), but I'd like a lot of options.

The idea of a house in every city was nice, however, I'd like to be able to construct one somewhere in the wilderness. The house wouldnt have to be all too customizable just aslong as i can give it a nice warm cozy feeling.

Ive always thought it would been great if they picked out a certain number of areas, where you could buy property(in the wilderness, or near villages), and build ur own house, farm or perhaps even castle.

Though, more important then the customization, i would like to see more use for houses. In oblivion, most of the time, they would just feel like big containers where you store ur weapons/armor. There should be possibility to hire servants, or perhaps create a extra bedroom and hire it out to another person, or something similar.
It could also have some use in quests, for example, if you were to meet a person in a week from now, you could tell him to meet you at ur house in X place.

My absolute game-dream in a game like this would be able to build a entire villiage though, become the ruler/lord of ur own town. With ur own castle. And you could build a wall around the village, decide who you wanted to sell the houses to, hire guards and so on. Then there could be quite a lot of customization, on how the houses looks, and especially the castle, being able to upgrade the castle quite a lot, put taxes on the villagers etc.. and there could be small events, like bandit attacks, festivals, or perhaps a rival village that would cause trouble.

Fallout 3 had some nice house themes you could choose from, something like that would be nice.

A stronghold like in Morrowind would be great too.

i think its pretty reasonable to at least be able to build a house at certain vacant plots obtained from quests or buildings that have burnt down for instance.

as for furnishings. i think fable 3 has a good way of doing it - you can buy individual things and set them down in specific areas.

Maybe they could pull a Lionhead and have it a little like Fable 2?
The housing system was one of the things I liked most about Fable 2

Please don't act so childish.

Personally I love player housing.
I loved having a house in Oblivion, decorating it etc. It gave me something to be proud of.
I voted for all options with as much details as possible.

That was one of my favorite rewards of Raven Rock. One of my most favorite rewards indeed. I would like to see the architect who age you the options, that'd be sick.

I chose what I thought would be the best option that we could possibly expect from TES V.

I want to be able to have only some choises (material, how big, rooms).
I want to choose between a few specific areas (like Raven Rock).
I want to be able to choose between two or three styles of furniture.
