What about daily quests?

Hey guys,

in the course of ESO's development I'm very curious about the "Quest System" and how (Bethesda) Zenimax Online Studios (thanks for correction Nooblatron!) is going to set up daily quests. My experiences with daily quests have become more and more worse. The gameplay of WoW and GW2 integrates those dailies very much but all in all it doesn't make fun and enerves you after a while. Neither dynamic quests (GW2) nor easy and humorous quests (WoW) will make daily quests attractive. I hope that ESO is changing the usual MMORPG gameplay into something new without too much hypes about innovation...
What do you think about that? :stare:

I'm pretty sure there won't be any daily quests. Also, Zenimax Online Studios is making the game, not Bethesda. The questing system in TESO will be much like the previous TES games, where you find quests naturally and through conversations. I don't think there will be any room for dailies, as those svck and only add a grind to the game.

I hope so! I hope they'll find a balance between the old, "scriptet" quest system and the dynamic system.

Imho dailies are the most repulsive kind of endgame possible.

I wouldn't mind doing daily quests that would make sense in the game. Such as a tradesman requesting your assistance in gathering materials for their trade. Or the local butcher offering something in exchange for cuts of meat.

I know that the Mage's guild will have you collecting books for them in exchange for reputation. And I believe the Figher's guild will have you destroying those dark anchor things for reputation with them. So in a way, there will be some repeatable things to do.
