It always annoyed me to, I would help a guard kill something, and they'd stand right in front of me, then get mad that I hit him. I'm always just like

"Well if you knew what the [censored] you were doing you wouldn't get hit, now move the hell out of my way, your head doesn't make a good window" They need some kind of targeting (optional of course) for that kind of stuff. I would ONLY use it in that scenario though.

I dunno, i killed someone in Kvatch in OB with a misguided arrow. ''awwww shi-'' ....but later got arrested for something unrelated. But Lucian Lechance woke me up... :o so wasnt all bad....that murder i mean, stealing a spoon was an accident, for real.

I began just letting the helping actor do the work and I just heal them, it is safer this way. The worst part about them coming along with you,
is when they wear heavy armor, they give away your position. I like getting the bonus attack strength in but it is near impossible to do so when
the assisting actor goes rushing in and gives away the location.

well we have magnetism this time so our attacks will go towards our enemies instead of allies, but we can still hit allies
its kinda like autoaim for melee attacks

I like friendly fire. Games where your companions take no damage from you = absurd. You can use them as meat shields while you pummel the crap out of mobs with giant 2h weapons/big area of effect spells.

Accidents happen. If the player can't aim properly and accidentally kills a friendly NPC, so be it.

If the friendly NPC is stupid enough to constantly run in front of your swings, then it's the AI that needs improving.

I'd always do that sequence in Kvatch with the all the guards and I swear after every little skirmish I had arrows sticking out of my back

If this comes across as flamebait I apologise. Playing the devils advocate for a second, doesn't it work the other way though, in the sense that you really should have watched where you were swinging ?

Not if you got your bow aimed, and AI just randomly runs right infront of it.

Most times its laughable, but sometimes NPC's get weird, in any game let alone an open world game. Its expected, but sometimes annoying.
