WHAT ABOUT THE BETA? : Crysis

I signed in months ago, when i heard about a beta coming out for consoles...is that true???

It will come out, but it's not out yet, stay on the forums actively and eventually you will get info on it.

Crytek has announced a closed beta for the Xbox360 coming out this fall. The other versions of the beta are still TBA, but dont rule them out as opportunities yet.

beta is epic but apparently has a lot of lag at the moment, Crytech is attempting to make it less laggy online at the moment which is why the beta isn't out for everyone and also why the game is taking to long to come out, because if the public got it now the servers would be flooded with players and there would be enormous lag for everyone and it just wouldn't be worth the money. So keep waiting and look out for beta to open

ya i'd like to know this too. Is there a PC public beta I don't know about or is it just a internal Beta that all MP games go through.

No beta news at the moment - when there is it'll be announced on gamesas.com so keep an eye out (and by announced I mean a news post not a random person posting something in comments).

Also please try to avoid turning this thread (or any other) into a flame war.

yeah really would love to play the beta on my pc. does anyone have any idea how long the pc beta will be? surly crytek wont punish the loyal pc users itching for the sequal and bring out the xbox360 beta first.....i hope.

Lol. It's too late to hope for something that already is happening. The Xbox360 Beta has already been announced, with other versions maybe coming out later.

I hope the PC Beta starts in late December and ends at release, so that Crytek has enough time to fix most of the issues.
