Believe it or not I have not yet played DisHonord ! But just now got it, what is the best way to play it, to download all add on before I start my first time.. ? or wait..?

The DLC don't add stuff to the main game and you can get them later when you decide you like the game. One is a set of challenges and the other consists of additional missions but with a different character.

You should definitely wait, if you are inexperienced, you will not do very well in the DLC's
