what to do after killing Alduin?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 10:54 am

ok so after 165 hours of doing tons of quests and finally killing Alduin, what is there to do now??

I have the DB thingy..but it's just an endless cycle of killing people (according to the wiki)...

so what else is there to do? I'm pretty sure I've exhausted the majority of side quests and explored the majority of the game and found tons of dungeons, etc.

max your skills? I had the same dilema, so I made my warrior a master of Destruction, but leveling up is not easy after lvl 50, so I am 93 on Destruction, I have 320 points of Health, 330 Points of Stamina....and 250 points of Magicka, and that's including the +100 of the Arch.Mage robes.

Have you done the daedric Quests? that kept me busy and helped me level-up to increase my magicka.

willing, but dont always have a direction to travel. i want someone to give me a little story of why i am going there rather than stumbling around in the forest. eventually tripping on some bandits that want to defen their cave when ive done nothing wrong to them.

You need the game to give you a reason to explore? Be an adventurer, climb a mountain because it is there, pick up a pickaxe and prospect, become the Lone Ranger rooting out bad guys, it’s a RPG so make up your own reason for going where you go.

Well if your the Thane of every Hold, you could be getting rid of the bandit's for the Jarl's. That mean's exploreing more, and then you run across the bandit's and wipe them out so that the honest citizen's are safe to travel.

Or If that's been your only character, create a new one, that has different skill's.

One of the reason's that I have 4 different character's right now is each one as different agendas. The last I created has no real agenda except to live. No quest line's, no dragon's, just exploreing and hunting. No Hud, she uses alchemy and "leather/hide" smithing because she's a hunter... she will improve her bow and dagger ...or use better one's that she find's...no enchanting at all, soul gem's are something to sell. She will have a very limited amount of magic, calm spell, conjur familar ( only wolf ) healing and maybe a couple other spell's that she will find usefull. Perhap's later she will find a purpose, but for now it's just getting along day to day. Also the brightness setting is as low as it will go on x-box, so she has to hold a tourch to see or be home/camp/ Inn after dark.

hey thats pretty cool, ive not thought of it that way. i do have a few char and a lot of different paths they take. its not like the game has lost its fun. im big into smithing. what i would like is if i could open up my own smithing shop and help make weapons and armor for a war. and not just make what the list provides. but tailor make a suit of hunting gear. stuff that the game just cannot do yet. you can/cant do whatever you want in the game. i just need to wait ten years and hopefully i can do something like that.

i dont mind exploring but i dont want to come across the same cave 400 times. you eat hamburgers everyday you are going to eventually want some chinese food.
but i do like the bad guy idea i dont normally do that. so i will give it a try. also, the minor crash and getting stuck glitches get on my nervs when im not in towns it gets worse. so being a lone ranger isnt the easiest for me right now.

Be a "Fortune Hunter" and go around getting everything out of every cave and dungeon and see how rich you can get.

Be a Khajit "Cat Burgler" and get rich robbing houses.

Wait for DLC

Nope, dragons will still be around and will continue to be around for the rest of the game.
