What angers you?

Post » Tue Sep 03, 2013 11:11 am

Or at least irritates you and pisses you off. I'll keep this to the real world, but throw in whatever you want.

What makes me angry is seeing a friend in a relationship and they're in the honeymoon phase for months, constantly flaunting their relationship and waving it in your face, and never seeing their friends to see their boyfriend/girlfriend like they hardly see them or they've just met. YOU JUST SAW THEM TWO DAYS AGO!

Also, people who are just plain rude and [censored]y. I always try to think in somebody else's mindset before I judge behaviour. I like to imagine how, say, if something happened, how would they-and I- react. But when people are just [censored]y and rude for the hack of it... it boggles me. There's a few people I know like that, and I just feel like I'm stepping way way to the left just to try and comprehend why they act like that. For me, life is easier and simpler if you get along with everyone and make people happy.

Last but not least, when you stub your toe on that bastard coffee table and you get that mad rush of pure rage, but nothing to unleash it on. You can't blame the table because it's (obviously) inanimate, and I'm the only person to blame. But NO! In my blooddrunk frenzy, I'm totally right and something is in the wrong!

virtually nothing, im not about to give people that info to use against me either since i used to have an anger problem of sorts.

every thing used to make me angry though, just the way i was because of the crap deals i'd been dealt through out life and the frame of mind i took up to deal with it. I used to believe i was superior to every one and any time some one would treat me as inferior it would drive me into a silent rage.

I don't allow anger a chance to get even the slightest grip over me any more though, people say hate is a powerful word but it really isn't. It is weak and acidic, all it does is corrode you with in.

I could be here till next week listing them all.

^And I have to disagree with mirglof. I know from personal experience that hate can be a great motivator; sometimes you'll do things out of hatred that later benefit you in ways that actually have nothing to do with the hatred that motivated them.

not saying that good things can come out of hate fuel actions, good things can come from many negative things. However, if you let it anger will consume every other emotion. or at least it did with me.

If you don't mind me asking, how exactly did anger affect your life? Did you do any irreversible actions you regretted?

That people really want a job, and when they get it they call off, a lot. Like they are trying to get fired to collect unemployment. So I guess it is more lazy people make me angry.

[censored]ing nothing!

But for real, only a few things anger me, and not to a "very angry" degree anyways. I've gotten the hang of understanding that it's not worth getting truly angry at things, and to look at life in such a way where nothing that happens will really matter and thus there's no reason to get angry about it (I don't mean to say that I NEVER get angry or anything of course, just rarely). So this is more like things I dislike. A few things that come to mind would be self righteousness, cynicism and immaturity. Particularly the last two.

And for a circumstantial thing that makes me angry, lack of sleep.

you have to work a minimum number of hours before you can claim unemployment when loosing your job, as i recall it is something that amounts to around 8 months of employment.

I kept getting more angry until i had an emotional break down.

Two things.

1. Unbalanced, cheap, or broken classes/loadouts/builds on competitive online games.

2. People who make no sense in their arguments, hate just to hate, and blindly follow their incorrect arguments.

Edit:

3. People who play music or spam using voice chat in games.

About 2-3 years ago I was under a lot of stress and would get extremely angry about the smallest things but now rarely anything gets me angry except for:

1. Just plain stupidity

2. Annoying people

Things rub me the wrong way, but my biggest anger switch is losing to others in online games. It sounds childish but I was one of those who get angry and call the person who beat me in Battlefield 3 a C U Next Tuesday, stupid effer and all that jazz. I've become slowly better at abiding my rage until it is more an issue of a silent internal anger, but it can manifest itself at times without my meaning to.

Me, people, lawyers, the world in general, just stuff along those lines. As of late though, I find myself irritated to no end by some of these acts of violence. Worst one was that 18yr old that shot the kid in the baby stroller. Either him or his lawyer had the the just outright absurdity to claim the mother shot the kid and blamed the 18yr old.

Whatever, I'm just cynical and can't stand things at times. Just glad I carry a chair around with me so I can sit down.

Politics, anyone who says "that's racist" as a serious argument, stupid people(ties in with the politics), and people who blame guns or video games for shootings.

People who blame video games for everything bad going on in the world.

People who say that Justin Bieber is more talented than the prog-rock bands I listen to.

The fact that so much bad music (such as Bieber) is popular in recent years.

People who hate on MLP:FiM for no good reason, w/o giving it a legitimate chance.

Not being able to get a girlfriend (because most girls would much rather eat broken glass instead of giving an Aspie geek like me the time of day).

Realizing that Labor Day means the bus schedule reverts to Sunday's schedule after I'd been waiting for the bus for about 20 minutes. Then upon discovering this keen fact, I was forced to walk back to my apartment and grab my bike to ride the full 10 miles to work but the 20 minutes I waited meant I was 20 minutes late...

Honestly I was so pissed. I even checked the schedule and didn't notice the small tab at the top of the page that gave the message (it said something along the lines of "Important update" which I had seen various other times that only told about detours).

Women. But they also make me very happy. But they also make my life very uncomfortable, when they are not actually making it more comfortable anyways...

Uhm...instead of women, how about willful ignorance maybe? That usually does the trick.

Insults tend to piss me off, I am weird like that. Although I do control myself, kind of.

Unreasonable expectations being placed upon me also does it for me. Although I think that is normal, especially because of the subjective unreasonable part.

Thoughts...thoughts piss me off.

When the little things go wrong when I'm working outdoors such as the wind blowing away the cover, a hole in the leaf bag, or a tool breaks. When I was younger it used to be video games and the people that picked on me that really pissed me off. Now though I'm much better with me no longer throwing controllers at walls or hating on the people that picked on me even buried the hatchet with some them when I was still in school.
