This game is rated Mature. Which means you have to be at least 17 to play it. Which means everyone who is getting it would be able to get into a rated R movie. Which means no one on this forum should be under 17. With that being said why do the Mods treat us like we're 12? I posted a video about being a dragon born, and it got locked because it was "inappropriate." Really? In the actual video they even bleeped out the swear words. How is that inappropriate for people 17 and up? No matter what I kind of thread I make it always gets locked. It's pretty annoying. Is this place run by Nazi's?

I think the minimum age is 13 on the forums because that's the lowest age prior to having really get serious about http://www.coppa.org/coppa.htm in the US. *shrugs* Don't know why the forums wouldn't be set higher rather than lower though.

Because the legal requirement on the game varies from place to place. In the US, for example, it has no legal weight at all and is only a suggestion.

But there are legal issues with having kids under 13 on the forum for US companies.

Then all they have to do is add an age verifier to the forum, after which it is no longer their responsibility if someone lies. Problem solved.

Problem invented, because there's no reason to limit the forums from people between 13 and 17. They can all legally buy the game in the US. And other regions may have their rating as low as 7 (Israel).

Crappy youtube videos aren't worth cutting out legal customers from the discussion.

Uh... no, your entire statement is incorrect. The minimum forum age is 13. A 13 year old can play, their parents just have to give the go ahead.
