Only bonus I have discovered is Gift of charity when giving something to my kids. Is there anything else?

there is mother's/father's (love? I think) for sleeping in the same house that your kids live in, or the same room or something like that

Sleeping in the same house gives you either Father's Love or Mother's Love. The Active Effect is Healing spells and potions add 25% extra health for 8 hours.

Children will periodically fill their room container with things you can take. Not sure if this is modified by the allowance you give.
